1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of selfcustody21.com and your engagement with SelfCustody21 LLC ("SelfCustody21," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the website, submitting our evaluation form, or engaging any of our services, you acknowledge that you accept these Terms in full.

2. Legal Entity

SelfCustody21 LLC is a limited liability company, licensed by Shams Free Zone, Government of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

3. Nature of Services

SelfCustody21 provides specialized consulting, educational, and technical services relating to Bitcoin self-custody, including but not limited to:

• Consulting: Review of custody architecture, and design of single-signature or multi-signature setups.
• Supervision: Live oversight of setup procedures and custody ceremonies, provided in an advisory capacity only.
• Support: Ongoing follow-ups and technical guidance for continuing questions.

Material disclosure: All of our services are advisory and educational in nature. At no stage does SelfCustody21 obtain access to your private keys, your seed phrase, or any means of control over your assets. You remain solely responsible for setting up, safeguarding, and securing your wallet at all times.

4. Engagement Process

1. Complete the evaluation form on our website (or use the Store quiz to select the appropriate service directly).
2. We will contact you by email to arrange a free evaluation meeting online.
3. We prepare a customized report setting out the recommended plan and estimated cost.
4. Upon your approval of the report, payment is made.
5. The agreed service begins.

5. Payment

Payment may be made by:

• Bitcoin (on-chain or via the Lightning Network), via a direct Bitcoin address or a Lightning invoice — our recommended option.
• Bank card, processed via Stripe, a third-party payment processor integrated within our BTCPay system. By choosing this option, you also agree to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy, which are independent of SelfCustody21.

All payments are final once confirmed, except where otherwise agreed in writing, or as set out in the Academy policy in the following section.

6. Store and SelfCustody21 Academy

Store

The Store quiz allows you to identify the service best suited to your situation through a short series of questions, and to complete your booking and payment directly through the BTCPay gateway in accordance with the payment mechanism described in Section 5. Any service booked through the Store is subject to the same general terms set out in this document.

Academy

The "SelfCustody21 Academy" workshop is a live (online) training session covering the fundamentals and practical skills of Bitcoin self-custody, offered at a fixed price as published on the Academy page, and includes a certificate of participation and completion issued upon conclusion of the workshop.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: All Academy workshop sales are final once payment is confirmed. If you are unable to attend, you may request to reschedule your seat to the nearest available upcoming workshop, provided you notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled workshop time. This does not include a monetary refund.

Group or private bookings (for a family, team, or company) are subject to a separate arrangement made directly through correspondence with SelfCustody21.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Our services are advisory and educational in nature and do not, under any circumstances, constitute financial, investment, or legal advice.
• As we do not hold your private keys or control your assets at any stage, SelfCustody21 is not liable for any loss arising from a client's misuse of their private keys, loss of a seed phrase, or any operational error occurring after guidance has been delivered.
• Our liability is limited to providing technical guidance professionally and in accordance with best practices generally accepted at the time the service is rendered.

8. Client Confidentiality

We are committed to not sharing any information relating to your identity or your Bitcoin holdings with any third party, as further detailed in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

All content published on the website (text, logo, designs, and educational materials) is owned by SelfCustody21 LLC and may not be copied or republished for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement at any time prior to the commencement of a paid service. Terms of termination after commencement are set out in the bespoke agreement made with each client, or in accordance with the Academy policy set out in Section 6.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Any update will be posted on this page along with the date it was last revised, and your continued use of the website or our services following publication constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the Emirate of Sharjah shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
