Bitcoin Node Setup (Intermediate)

About the session

A complete hands-on session to run a Bitcoin node on your own device. In the first session, we set up the node and start syncing the full blockchain. In the second session, once the sync is complete, we connect your wallet app and signing device directly to your node instead of third-party servers, and set up a private block explorer to track your transactions and network fees. The result: your addresses and balances are not exposed to anyone, your connections run through the Tor network or a VPN, and every transaction you receive or send is verified by your own node against Bitcoin's rules, with no need to trust anyone. You finish the session not only holding your keys, but verifying Bitcoin yourself.
